Easter Bunny Doll - Does She Look Like A Rabbit?

I was in my doll phase a few years ago, I was trying to make a rabbit doll for Easter. I don't think I got the head quite right. She does have long ears, but I think I missed on the facial features, please tell me what you think -good or bad!!!

I added the little chick, since it was for Easter.....


I do like her dress, it came from some quilting fabric I had purchased.


I just don't know about the face.
I used a blue fabric for her legs for stockings, and painted on her shoes, with little pearl buttons for fastening.

    She is gorgeous - she seems to be waiting for the Easter Bunny... hoping that he will visit.

I love the look of this enlarged envelope for art, found on the Southern Living site , and using an envelope from a relative adds to it.. “This is one of my favorite things,” says George of the framed envelope in the dining room. It was addressed by George’s great-grandmother to her uncle, George’s namesake, in 1917. He found it tucked away in his grandfather’s dresser. A local printer scanned and enlarged the envelope.

Franciscan Fine China -Silver Pine

I found this beautiful china at an antique sale a few weeks ago.  As with all of my items I did some research to find out the history.  The Gladding, McBean & Co., started out in 1875 making sewer tile . Thru the years they acquired several potteries and expanded their lines, located in California.  Originally the dinnerware was sold as Franciscan Pottery and consisted of bright earthenware in the Mexican folk style.  The name was associated with the Franciscan monks.  In the late 1930's the name was changed to Franciscan Ware for a more upscale image. The Fine China line was introduced in 1942.  This changed to Franciscan Masterpiece China after 1958 and production continued in the United States until 1978.   These dishes have a light turquoise background with a pine needle and  white pine cone design.  The turquoise goes well with the creamy white and silver detail.  I have started listing several of these i...
